映画『バック・トゥ・ザ・フューチャー』にも登場した「ホヴァーボード」の動画を、高級自動車ブランド「レクサス」が公開した。液体窒素で冷却した超電導体と永久磁石を使って宙に浮かせる仕組みだという。
Lexus insists that the board is real and “rideable”, and says it is working with at least one pro skateboarder in developing the ride, though it is said to be quite different to use in practice.
